Girl Drawings--Katie Rice Influenced
Hey, folks! I've thought of doing some girl drawings that'd seem similar to Katie Rice's girl drawings. It's kinda rare for me to draw in her style or just any kinda girl drawing for that matter. I actually was a bit intimidated at first because I've never done one before for the longest time, but just seeing all of these girl drawings in every blog I go to I thought I'd give it a shot. Katie's drawings look like they were fun to draw so how could I resist doing some myself.
This here is a request drawing I made for a friend of mine. I really wanted the combination of Katie's style and some John K.-esque cartoon creatures all around. The girl is suppose to be my friend while cartoon things glance at her hotness.
These are some first drawings I did of girls just to get into practice. They were sort of hard to plan as I drew along, but they came out somewhat appealing. John was right! Girls are hard to draw!

Life's Ambition Painting
Hey, everybody! Here's this new painting I just finished. Sorry it took me a while to actually post anything for a while, but I've been quite busy with other crap.
There are many things I like when I'm painting my drawings. One is where the painting will almost look nothing like the original sketch. I sometimes don't like that 'cause the sketch has more of an energetic feel than the finished painting, but I'm actually proud that this one didn't come out as close as the original drawing. Obviously the proportions are off when I compare them both and that really never bothers me. I get real stressed out when I try to copy something from an original piece. I used to do that, but I decided to screw it and just kinda went with the flow and energy of the drawing. They're both somewhat the same thing, but they have these slight differences of course. I'm hoping to make more paintings before I make my trip back to school.
Tell me what you think! I hope you like it!
Oh and a couple of drawings I wanted to post here for a while. Who knows, you might expect some of these to be painted and prettied up!
