Tintero Pop Up Ponce, New Art Zine and Capitán Granuja!

Wanted to give an update on a few things I've done lately...

I participated this year for Tintero Pop Up Ponce! Had a blast selling and meeting new folk and conversing with some of the other artists at the event.

There I debuted my new art zine, which is now available to buy HERE at my Etsy store!

I also helped design a mascot and a logo for a local comic book and video game store in Mayagüez, Puerto Rico. The name of the mascot and store is called "Capitán Granuja", which is now in the stages of opening soon.

The character is a "jíbaro" superhero, complete with "pava" (hat) and "guayabera" (shirt). Had fun helping create a visual look of what the owners wanted.

Jeepers Creepers.

Cartoonist friend David DeGrand recently posted on Facebook a caricature he did of a creepy murderer from an Unsolved Mysteries episode and others started to join in on the fun, posting their caricatures in the comments. So how could I pass up the chance to do one myself??

Happy Birthday to one of the greatest actors, Jack Nicholson! This guy can act! Love the way he performs, how he uses his face, his eyes, eyebrows, certain mannerisms he has. Always blows me away.

Macabro 3!

Here are the first two pages of the comic I did for Francisco González Cruz's third issue of Macabro! I also helped put the entire comic book together as well as colored the cover. It includes a 29-page comic by Francisco, 4 guest comics, which includes mine, and 5 pin-up illustrations from various artists, one of them being mine. A whopping total of 56 pages!
